Dresslerella lasiocampa

I ordered 2 and have had these guys for 2 and 3 months, they arrived in separate shipments. They are each doing well. A couple days after receiving the first plant I noticed some wrinkles on the leaves. I started dipping the plant into a cup of water each morning, covering the sphagnum, but not wetting the leaves. This stopped the wrinkling and the leaves are looking very good. Both plants are doing well and each is growing a new leaf at this time. The leaves have a beautiful speckled underside and fuzzy all over. very unique look. I look forward to seeing some fuzzy flowers!

This little guy is doing great in my terrarium. As long as you can provide high humidity and intermediate temps, then this orchid will grow and reward your patience! I love how this orchid is covered in furry hairs. It is a unique specimen!
