Philodendron verrucosum Fantasy

So I got this plant a couple of months ago from a pop up. It was in almost perfect condition and didn't skip a bit in growing new leaves. The stems were a bit on the thinner side but it grows really fast and the leaves are nicely sizeing up.
Most importantly tho the leaves are insanely beautiful with those neon yellow markings that fade into a quite dark and still very stunning colour. Also the red back is gorgeous.
So all in all it's a stunning plant and for me easily the most beautiful out of all the verrucosums.

It arrived in South Africa and already the roots did not look well. BTW the rest of my order travelled really well and is doing well. I treated it the same as all the other plants but it got root rot. I propagated it and is hoping for the best.

Ich habe mich sehr auf die Pflanze gefreut aber ich wurde enttäuscht. Sie sieht der Abbildung nicht annähernd ähnlich. Die Blätter sind sehr klein mit braunen Stellen. Da die Pflanze wahrscheinlich wenig Licht abbekommen hat haben die Blätter großen Abstand zueinander. Die Pflanze ist den Preis nicht wert. Ich habe jetzt Stecklinge geschnitten und hoffe das beste.
