Our Tours

 

Ecuagenera Cía. Ltda. has been growing, producing, and exporting orchids for more than 20 years. Many of our clients have come down to see the plantation and to personally select plants for their orders. On many occasions short trips to see flowers in situ were on tap for visitors. From there, the short trips expanded to days long journeys to more distant destinations and orchid-rich areas.

 

 

 

Today we have tours ranging throughout the country that last as long 20 days, in some cases even longer. We have visitors coming from all over the world to see hundreds of orchids in situ and in flower in one trip. We of course still bring tourists by our plantation in Gualaceo to see the great variety of orchids we have here, as well as to shop. Depending on the route, we also take groups to our warmer plantation located in the small jungle town of El Pangui.

 

 

 

 

 

We are constantly re-learning and improving our routes. We send our guides to scout new areas and learn new habitats. We are also up to date on the latest roads and passes through new and old areas. We are collecting information on location, elevation, and temperature both for the purposes of tours and to give our clients a better idea of the conditions under which our plants naturally grow.
