Anthurium gustavii

I ordered one of these and while it had a good-looking root system and three beautiful leaves, it just completely melted upon arrival. Being a seedling, it only had 3 nodes or so and once it had melted away there were no salvageable nodes.

I ordered another to give it a second chance, and it nearly did the same, even in my prop box with 88% humidity this time. I treated it with water + hydrogen peroxide and I think that saved its stem from rotting and melting away again. The leaves are beauuuuuutiful and velvety and the venation is awesome. I still recommend giving this one a go.
